I had a friend who had one of those (and the mat… and ROB the Robot…). Now the Power Glove wasn’t quite as bad as the Virtua Boy, but it was not good. It seems to have fallen into it's new role as a low budget prop in sci-fi shows.
My younger cousin had the Power Glove and the mat, but I never have seen ROB in person. I saw the AVGN video about it and that's all that I know honestly.
What I remember most was my cousin and I eventually having to go to the local hardware store for Velcro strips because that was the only way we could keep the sensors from sliding off the television or the desk 😂
My cousin and I would cheese the game once we found out that aiming at the lower right corner of the screen resulted in hitting all the targets. Before then we would troll each other by the one who wasn't playing using the 2p controller to make the ducks fly all over the place! 🤭

The way the light guns detected hits also meant that they only worked on CRTs. It was a really clever bit of programming to get it to work.
