Nostalgia Nation Magazine — Issue 03 (MAR 2026)
'80s Wrestling, Nostalgia in Miniature, The Millennial Minute + More
Welcome to Nostalgia Nation Magazine — Issue 03
It’s March already, and somehow we’re already on Issue 3 of Nostalgia Nation Magazine. When I first started this little experiment, I had no idea how much work actually goes into producing an e-zine. Writing, editing, designing pages, coordinating contributors, tracking sponsors, promoting it… and somewhere in between all that, trying to make sure it still feels fun and nostalgic for the people reading it.
I’ll be honest with you… There were moments this month where the creativity didn’t come easily. In fact, there were a few days where I almost talked myself out of doing this at all. Producing a magazine, even a digital one, means you’re responsible for literally every single part of it. Some days I don’t want to show up on social media or here. Some days I just want to order a Hawaiian pizza and play The Legend of Zelda.
But… I show up.
Because some of you decided to become paid subscribers. That tells me this magazine might be more than just another nostalgia project floating around the internet. Maybe it’s the MacGuffin that turns casual readers into believers and supporters of what we’re building here.
So here we are.
This issue has grown to 40 pages, and I’m especially grateful to be partnering with HOMAGE, the vintage and retro sports and pop culture apparel brand that made it possible for this entire issue to be completely free for everyone. Normally the full e-zine is reserved for paid subscribers, so this felt like the perfect opportunity to open the doors and let everyone inside Nostalgia Nation for a while.
I really hope you enjoy this issue. And if you do… or even if it’s just “meh”… let me know in the comments.
After all, this magazine only exists because you keep showing up too.
Consider becoming a paid supporter of the Nostalgia Nation newsletter, podcast, and e-zine ecosystem to help keep the past alive.
In this issue of Nostalgia Nation Magazine:
From the electric spectacle of 1980s wrestling, featuring a tribute to “Rowdy” Roddy Piper by Russell Franklin and an ode to classic 80s wrestling, to a creator spotlight on David Miniatures and a chat with Lisa Downs (Life After universe), this issue pulls you right into the action. You’ll also find rad trivia to test your Gen X and Millennial knowledge, pop culture reflections, and Casey Kasem’s America’s Top 40 for March. Issue 3 of Nostalgia Nation Magazine is packed with nostalgia, stories, exclusive illustrations available only in this issue, and the memories that defined growing up in the 80s and 90s.
