Hulk Hogan's Rock 'n' Wrestling: cartoon photos | WWE

Hulk Hogan's Rock 'n' Wrestling first aired on September 14, 1985, and ran until December 6, 1986, on CBS. This animated series brought the larger-than-life personalities of the World Wrestling Federation (now WWE) to Saturday mornings, featuring Hulk Hogan and his fellow wrestlers (good guys) battling against a team of heels (villains) led by "Rowdy" Roddy Piper.

The show followed the adventures of Hulk Hogan and his friends both in and out of the ring, often engaging in comedic situations and community service. While wrestling was a theme, the characters rarely actually wrestled on the show, instead focusing on solving problems and helping others.

Cast of Characters and Voice Actors:

• Hulk Hogan - Brad Garrett

• "Rowdy" Roddy Piper - Charlie Adler

• André the Giant - Ron Feinberg

• Junkyard Dog - James Avery

• Captain Lou Albano - George DiCenzo

• The Iron Sheik - Aron Kincaid

• Nikolai Volkoff - Ron Gans

• Big John Studd - Chuck Licini

• Mr. Fuji - Ernest Harada

• Wendi Richter - Jodi Carlisle

• Tito Santana - Joey Pento

• Mean Gene Okerlund - himself

1. Despite being the star of the show, Hulk Hogan never actually voiced himself. Brad Garrett, later famous for "Everybody Loves Raymond," provided Hogan's voice.

2. The show featured live-action segments with the real wrestlers, usually introducing the episodes or providing safety tips to kids.

3. A spin-off series of five music videos called "The Wrestling Album" was produced, featuring songs performed by various WWF wrestlers, including Hulk Hogan's famous "Real American" theme.
